Don't rush. This will put less stress on the subject, handler, rider and photographer. It is best to be relaxed to get the best results. We suggest a minimum of one hour for a private session. |
| For outdoor photography, the best light is available in the early morning, late in the afternoon, or on an overcast day. Please keep different weather conditions, and time of year in mind when planning a photo shoot. |

Each season has its own beauty. A subject photographed in the snow during winter can look as beautiful as one photographed on the beach in the summer. |
| If a person is going to be in the picture,
it is a good idea to bring changes of
clothing to make the images more
interesting, and to give you a wider variety of pictures from which to choose. You may want to bring items for touch-ups. |
Please be sure that the subject is properly groomed. This includes trimming, bathing, and brushing thoroughly. It is also recommended to bring water, treats, and your grooming tools. |
Keep an open mind to make changes in your original ideas. Outdoor photography can be challenging due to environmental conditions and subject behavior. |
Be patient with your subject, the photographer, and yourself. |
Have fun! The shoot is to bring out the best in you and/or your subject. Everyone is at their best when they are having a good time. |
